The restaurant has several branches in the city, including at Hyde Park, Kendal Street and Old Kent Road. 805 Restaurant was established in 2001 and has remained consistent in serving some of the best Nigerian dishes in London since then.

This is one of the best spots for every occasion, whether you want to dine alone or hang out with family and friends. The moniker fish is a must-try dish. The meal prices at the restaurant range from £14 to £43. Opening hours are usually from 12 noon to 11 pm.

Lolak Afrique

Lolak Afrique is what you would describe as a typical Nigerian buka. If you want a taste of traditional Nigerian cuisine, you cannot afford to miss this place. Located at Tulsehill, Peckham and Foresthill, Lolak Afrique was first established in 1996 and has become famous for serving mouth-watering delicacies which are made with ingredients specially imported from Nigeria and other African countries. Try the egusi soup or ewa agoyin and you will testify. Each meal approximately costs between £12 and £40. Opening hours are usually from 12 noon to 10 pm.

Enish Nigerian Restaurant is one of the choicest restaurants in London. It has branches in 11 different areas, including Oxford Street and Finchley Road. This restaurant is also one of the best places to host a private event, be it a wedding party or birthday party. You can also visit the famous event Paint & Chop, where you can paint, chop and vibe to the wonderful music by the resident J.

Simply put, Enish is a great place you do not want to miss when you visit London. The restaurant’s isi ewu, (goat head), a popular delicacy in Nigeria, has proven to be a hit among food critics. You can wash it down with Chapman, also another popular Nigerian cocktail. Each meals approximately costs between £8 and £19. Opening hours are from 1 pm to 12 midnight.

Eko not only serves some of the best Nigerian dishes in London, it is also famous for serving amazing collections of wines and other drinks. Friday nights are special as you will not just enjoy some good cooking, you get to listen to listen to Nigerian music played live.

On the top of the menu is the edikang ikong soup, which has widely received great reviews. Each meal approximately costs between £30 and £40. Opening hours are from 12 noon to 4 pm.

Ikoyi

Ikoyi ranks as one of the top 50 restaurants in the world. So, you are not just guaranteed a great meal, you will do so in style. Ikoyi is known for serving exotic meals with a Naija twist. Therefore, if you have an open mind and a large pocket, you will walk out of the restaurant with a full stomach and a happy smile.

However, prices are on the high side, ranging from £180 to £300 but the meals are worth the price, especially the spinach stew in eggplant. Also, Ikoyi serves dinner from Monday to Friday and lunch on Fridays. In addition, the restaurant also offers a shorter lunch menu on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Opening hours are from 6 pm to 7 pm.

Tucked away in a Zone 6 town called Erith in south-east London, K’s Spice offers specials, which usually include fish as their main ingredients, served with yam or soup. The restaurant also serves gizzards and goat meat.

K’s Spice is simply a great place to hang out with your friends. You can book a table online and enjoy your meal while watching a music channel or football. Meal prices approximately range from £5 to £12 per meal. The fish pepper soup is highly recommended. Opening hours are from 12 noon to 9 pm.

Tasty is one of the fastest-growing Nigerian takeaway franchises in the UK. The restaurant’s main aim is to lead the way in delivering top-notch, affordable and authentic African cuisine while promoting the rich African culture.

Tasty has branches across London, Kent, Essex and Dartford, some branches providing eat-in, some take away only options. Some branches even do home deliveries. Jollof rice with beef, meat pie and puff puff are hit makers in this restaurant. So, you should try them. Each meal approximately costs between £15 and £20. Opening hours are 12 noon to 9 pm from Mondays to Saturdays. Opening hours on Sundays are from 11 am to 7 pm.
